Laurie offers person-centred integrative counselling online UK-wide and in-person in Truro, Cornwall.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
Additionally, she provides warm, genuine and compassionate therapeutic support, tailored to individual needs. This approach blends person-centred values with integrative techniques to help clients navigate challenges and become more grounded within themselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Furthermore, Laurie being an experienced audiologist works within deaf culture and has a wealth of understanding that enhances counselling practice. She provides clear communication accessible for lip-readers, and those needing oral communication alongside their British Sign Language . She also understands deaf speech and basic BSL. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
In addition she runs supervision for counsellors<\/strong> and consultative supervision <\/strong>for  professionals working in caring and supportive roles, e.g Pharmacists, Vets, Doctors, Nurses, Teachers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
If a mature, sensitive therapist is top of your list, someone able to flex skills, work around schedules, work patterns and fees then she could be the right fit for you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Laurie works two days a week on Tuesdays and Fridays both in\u2011person and online and Saturday ad-hock mornings and evenings. This will be expanding early next year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
With collaboration, trust and a gentle inquisitive approach, she can explore what troubles you; to begin to find meaning, clarity and a way forward. Whilst she offers general counselling her specialities are Bereavement and Loss and holding a neuro-affirming practice.  She is particularly skilled at holding space to supporting partners and family with illness. She has a spiritual connection and is always working with an open heart where clients feel heard, understood and not alone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
